A Message to Our Patients and the Miami Shores Community
To our patients and the Miami Shores community—thank you for the support you’ve shown Blu Dental over the past year and a half. Many of you trusted us because we built the practice around exceptional care, transparency, and a hand-picked team held to high standards.
I am publishing this message for clarity and patient transparency.
I do not currently control the Miami Shores location
At this time, I do not have operational control over the Blu Dental Miami Shores location or its administrative systems (including practice management, payer/insurance portals, merchant/banking functions, and related access). Because of that, I cannot validate, oversee, or endorse operational communications, staffing decisions, billing/insurance handling, or system changes occurring there.
Any statements made by the current office team should not be interpreted as authorized by me or reflective of Blu Dental’s standards.
Over the last several weeks, an internal business dispute escalated into operational and administrative control issues that impacted the stability of the practice. During this period:
- Individuals without my authorization have represented to third parties that there is “new management” at the office.
- Patients have been told statements regarding provider availability that I believe are misleading and harmful to continuity of care and professional reputations.
- Administrative access and payer/insurance payment configurations have been the subject of dispute and, in my view, require formal stabilization and oversight.
- Several staff members and clinicians who were part of the original Blu Dental-vetted team have chosen to leave due to instability and uncertainty.
Because the dispute is active, I will not litigate details publicly. The issues are being addressed through formal channels, and public court records exist under:
- Miami-Dade County Circuit Court — Case No. 2026-001863-CA-01
- Palm Beach County Circuit Court — Case No. 50-2025-CA-004105-XXXA-MB
At this moment, I do not have a replacement clinical team in the South Florida market to take over treatment or scheduling. I recognize this is frustrating for patients who expected continuity with the original team.
What I can do is provide non-clinical guidance to help you protect yourself administratively (records, billing, and documentation).
If you are a patient and need help with records or billing questions
Please email: [email protected]
In your email, include:
- Your full name
- The location: “Miami Shores”
- A phone number where you can be reached
- The topic (choose one): Records / Billing / Insurance / Treatment Documentation
I will respond with general guidance on next steps for requesting records, documenting communications, and preserving paperwork. I cannot provide clinical advice through email.
Thank you again for the trust you placed in Blu Dental. My priority is protecting patients, maintaining integrity, and ensuring the public is not misled during this transition.
Sincerely,
Robert Rodriguez
President and Owner, Blu Dental
